It usually starts with 'get a boyfriend' and 'join the gym so I can get hot to get a boyfriend', but really ladies, you should be applauding yourself for being that fabulous independent wo-man that gets to see the new year in as freshly as possible.

The Single Girl's Guide to The Cliche 'New Year, New Me'
It's that time of year again for your generic basic bitch 'New Year, New Me' facebook statuses that you're bound to roll your eyes at and then write a status complaining about said 'New Year, New Me' facebook statuses. Let's face it, by February we've all forgotten what we said we would do and decided to jump on the lent bandwagon in an attempt to regain that bit of enthusiasm towards making a change in your life - and that never lasts very long either (have you ever met somebody who successfully gave up chocolate or alcohol for lent? Nope, me neither).
It usually starts with 'get a boyfriend' and 'join the gym so I can get hot to get a boyfriend', but really ladies, you should be applauding yourself for being that fabulous independent wo-man that gets to see the new year in as freshly as possible.

New Years Eve: The Slip Dress
New Year's Eve is quickly creeping up on us and most of us still probably have no plans, let alone know what to wear (if you're anything like me, anyway!). Opting for something is always a winner for me, whether planned or not as with the right cut, minimal styling is needed - meaning these kind of pieces are perfect for a last minute outfit. A simple slip can be dressed up or down no problem, just add metallic details or even a bit of sparkle, and voila! New Year's Eve done quickly and easily!

New Years Eve: The Roll Neck and Pencil Skirt
Who said New Years Eve had to be super glam? I'm a dress it down kind of girl, so for me it's about adding statement pieces to a simple look - such as these amazing Dior perspex heel dupes from Ego. Being comfortable but smart is basically my getting-dressed-motto and NYE is no exception. Pencil skirts a la Kim Kardashian are perfect for going the full day - be it lunch, dinner, to straight to the bar. Paired with a roll neck you'll be chic all day and warm all night!

The Last Minute Christmas Gift Guide
Bag - Koko Couture, Vivienne Westwood Naughty Alice Perfume - Debenhams, Rose Gold Watch - Daisy Dixon, Mark Hill Ellipse Wand
If you're anything like me, this year you'll have left your gift buying until the very last minute and have no idea what to buy anyone - which is why I decided to come up with the 'last minute Christmas gift guide' in support of my fellow forgetful humans!
There are a few things you can never go wrong with, and accessories are always a winner. One of my current favourite accessories brands that i've found have something for every woman/girl is Daisy Dixon. They're stocked on ASOS and have the best watches, so for the girl with expensive taste who you have a little bit of a lower budget in mind for, they have some amazing designer dupes online and at ASOS, too! On the topic of brands who have something for everyone, Mark Hill recently re-branded and re-launched tons of products along with some new ones including a Trend Led and Salon Professional collection and as well as being completely Instagram worthy, they're amazing too!

Look Fantastic #LFBeautyBox Christmas Edition | December 2015
I'm ending the year with a beauty bang with the final #LFBEAUTYBOX of 2015 - and it's sure packed with some of this years favourite products. From the Black Friday box we have the Eve Lom Morning Time Cleanser again, and thank the heavens because it's a product I have since fallen in love with - leaving skin brighter and softer. And of course, I would never complain at a glitter eyeliner! Lord & Berry is actually a brand I discovered through the #LFBEAUTYBOX's so i'm super excited to add the eyeliner to my ever-growing collection of their products.
Another favourite product I was more than happy to see in there was the WetBrush. Most opt for the TangleTeezer, but for me the WetBrush wins every time. I have quite damaged hair from bleaching over the years and along with that it's super thick and there is so much of it, so i've found this to work much better in the painless de-tangling department in comparison... Other fab bits in the box include a lovely little Molton Brown body wash, a Codage Radiance and Energy serum and your NYE must haves - the Eylure Naturalites!
So, there you have it guys. The final #LFBEAUTYBOX of 2015 *insert crying emoji here*. What do you guys think of the final box? Will you be adding a cheeky subscription to your list to Santa? I know I will!

Neutral Layering
Layering. Everyone's favourite part of winter, because let's face it as much as we all wanna look stylish as hell, no one enjoys shivering in their tortoise heeled boots on their long commute to the office. Longer lengths over culottes are this season's go-to lazy girl look, and if you can do it in suedes and leathers then all the better! Just throw on a chic coat for a smart touch and voila, warm, cozy and bang on-trend.
