Dress - c/o Atterley Road (here)
Bag - Topshop
Boots - Kurt Geiger

Apparently, shirts and shirt dresses are now my thing and my wardrobe keeps expanding with them quite a lot lately and they will all be coming with me to Paris!
I'm really excited to just get out of London for a few days and just breathe, a break is definitely what i've needed for a while now - but you can probably tell that since I just can't shut up about it! Anyway, expect me to be rocking Disney ears the entire time....

Jacket - c/o Atterley Road (here)
Top - Missguided
Trousers - c/o Pretty Little Thing (here)
Limited Edition sequin Converse - Converse

I love finding those pieces that you just never want to take off - comfort always beats everything so it's a bonus when they look good too. You're probably aware by now if you're a long-time follower that I have a deep love for wide leg/palazzo trousers so this pair is no exception.
One of my main style inspirations is that preppy, American university look - I love the nonchalance take on uniform associated with it, so this long-line varsity jacket find is the most perfect jacket that I currently own and i'm officially going to look like a (female) fraternity reject on campus from now on...

Taken by the sky

Shirt - c/o Atterley Road (here)
Skirt - Zara
Bag - Topshop
Boots - Kurt Geiger

Praise above for sharing wardrobes! Mine and Annabel's obsession with all things Zara means that we both always want everything and we are extremely envious when the other gets something that we've both been lusting over (like the leather culottes that were delivered to her house yesterday....), but at the same time, it also means we can nab it from one an another on any given opportunity - the perks of friendship, ey? Anyway, this skirt was one of those things that I envied, so obviously i've been sat planning outfits with it for an excuse to put it on and I just love how perfect an A-line skirt turns out with a shirt.
Now to plot my way into those leather culottes...

Coachella Vibes / Loving Youth S/S15

Co-ord set - c/o Loving Youth
Hat - H&M (here)
Shoes - c/o Pretty Little Thing (similar here at Public Desire)

It's far too early to be thinking about Coachella and I don't even live in America, but this outfit just reminded me of the kind of thing you would probably wear there. Loving Youth kindly sent me a few pieces from their S/S15 collection and I figured it was the perfect time to give you a sneak peek and get you all looking forward to spring during this horribly bitter cold weather right now! As I mentioned in my previous post wearing Loving Youth, their slip dresses that i've seen on their instagram are gorgeous and just a little preview of what's to come in their Topshop concessions - Summer, hurry up already will youuuu!

Outfit Repeater

Top - c/o Primark
Scarf - Annabel's made from a scrap of fabric
Skirt - Daisy Street (here - £8 in the sale!)
Shoes - c/o Pretty Little Thing (similar here on Public Desire)

I just love when you find an outfit that works for you for every occasion that can be worn over and over and over, even with my extensive wardrobe do I have my favourite things that I wear constantly - and if you haven't noticed lately, i've acquired a more neutral palette which has been a saviour of a wardrobe update as it's become kind of a mix and match capsule wardrobe... I'm starting to get the minds of you monochrome lovers!

Edie Sedgwick - #ARWOMAN

I know this isn't something i'd usually do, but since part of my 2015 blog goal was to delve into other things other than outfit after outfit, I figured i'd go for it and share something kind of personal to me given the opportunity - which I was by the team at Atterley Road and their #ARWoman campaign. They basically asked me to share my inspirational woman as their campaign is about celebrating women, and as dysfunctional as that is, that women to me is Edie Sedgwick.
Now, i'm not a raging drug addict or anything, but I find her so relatable and so endearing and she has become my main muse for style and design lately (particularly my FMP which I will actually be blogging, so this is a great start) - plus, she was part of The Factory, and it doesn't get much cooler than that....

Loving Youth

Jumper - Missguided (here)
Pinafore - c/o Loving Youth
Boots - c/o Missguided (similar here)

A few months ago I got a pair of Loving Youth's trousers and since then i've been pretty in love with the brand. They offer up-to-date and re-made vintage and their stuff is so cute - i'm particularly in love with their Erin trousers and their cami and pinafore dresses.
And as you can see by my outfit today, lately my obsession with anything 60's related (the dark side, not the Twiggy side) is coming back and wiggled it's way as part of my final project at uni so i'm super excited about that right now.... My tutors always said I was born in the wrong era...
