Tomorrow we start the biggest countdown of all - THE COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS! I have two advent calendars at the ready (it's taken a lot of willpower to not demolish both of them ahead of December) and i'm officially in the festive spirit. When this super shiny, snowflake adorned box came through my door, I was super excited. It was like the first mark of Christmas ahead of the festivities and of course, I couldn't wait to see what was insiiiiide! Look Fantastic have a way with themes each month and I love that, especially around an occasion such as Christmas which definitely involves a ton of products at the ready.
The first fave from the box this month has to be the Model Co Blush. Complexion items have become a huge part of my make up collection lately with my previous appreciation for eyeshadow shifting towards anything that makes your skin look prim and polished. The cute coral colour will make the perfect addition to any party look this season.
Next is the Bloom and Blossom Revitalising Foot and Leg Spray - sounds interesting doesn't it? It's basically a go to product for those who have literally shopped til they've dropped, designed to ease tension and swelling in your ankles and legs if you've been on your feet far too long (remind you of the morning after Friday night?). I'm super excited to try this product, and having tried Bloom and Blossom's wonderful sprays previously - I have high hopes!
Then we have the Monu Recovery Balm. I fell in love with their Skin Perfector which I religiously used as a primer (until it inevitably ran out, RIP) and i've heard amazing things about the rest of the range too. The Recovery Balm is a gentle balm that helps give stressed skin the kick up the backside it needs while hydrating and refreshing. Definitely one for post-Christmas party!
Finally on my list of squeal-worthy products this month is the Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray. I don't tend to style my hair very often, but at this time of year my hair wand seems to get much more use than usual with the many events going on - and with my hair being so long and thick, adding extra volume can be an absolute pain (and most times I just give up...). This spray promises to add body and volume from the roots when applied to damp hair pre-styling, while avoiding adding any greasy finish like some products can. Sounds like heaven in a bottle, no?
