A couple of weeks ago I attended my very first Manchester blogger event with Pink Soda Sport to take part in a cross fit session at TRAIN Castlefield, a pretty serious cross fit gym for those who can hack it (and I can assure, I currently cannot!)
Being into fitness this was right up my street, and the opportunity of meeting some Manchester bloggers being a lone ranger up here made it all the more exciting for me - so off I went to the gym kitted out in my brand new Pink Soda Sport pieces ready to train hard (wanna check out which kit I chose? Check out my last Pink Soda post!).
We grouped up in pairs to take on the cross fit challenge and were given sets of challenging tasks to complete from kettlebell sumo squats to box jumps and the quickest pair to complete each challenge won. It's safe to say the trainer knew what he was doing and I was aching for days! It was definitely a really fun workout and competing against one another made you work so much harder (if you're a competitive nut like me, that is).
It was my first time testing out my new pieces from Pink Soda Sport and they've quickly become my new favourite sportswear brand. One of my biggest pet hates with stylish sportswear is the lack of breathability some have as they tend to opt for fashion fabrics rather than performance fabrics, so being able to train as comfortably as possible and still look pretty cool was a massive bonus and I had such a blast losing my cross fit v-card! Big thank you to Pink Soda and TRAIN Castlefield for showing me how it's done! Now, time to splurge my paycheck on the rest of the Pink Soda collection....
Have you ever tried cross fit before?
