Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting Trace Publicity HQ for the chance to preview what all their amazing brands have in store for A/W15 and I definitely was not disappointed. Their extensive portfolio of clients meant that I got to preview so much gorgeous stuff and learn all about new brands, and even stuff I didn't know about the brands I already loved, making me love them even more!
First up was Moda in Pelle, who if you haven't heard of before are a Yorkshire born (so obviously they're fabulous like my Yorkshire self) shoe company launched in 1975, and have been providing fashion-forward, heavenly shoes catered for all women even since, and next season is no exception! I love how Moda in Pelle have such a versatile approach to their shoes that work perfectly for a younger customer, as well as someone a little older too. My faves for next season are definitely the darker, jewel toned palettes (and even those with the jewel/diamonte embellishment, how cute?!) but I think we all know the real winners here are those grey, green and burgandy colour block boots - SWOON!

Next up was one of my personal favourite brands and newly added to the Trace family - Pretty Little Thing. PLT have been a big favourite for me for a couple of years now due to their low prices and on-trend pieces so I was pretty happy to see them at the Trace Press day and get to have a peek into next season, and although it was scorchio outside and the most beautiful day this year in London, it did make me nostalgic of cosying up in furry thing and being snuggled in a nice oversized knit! My key pieces that i'll be looking for next season though? This suedette jacket and the pin-striped bra let/trouser duo!

Being the 'Carrie Bradshaw of London' (I wish...) my favourite thing in the world is shoes. I'm shoe crazy at the much-needed-intervention-stage of my obsession - so there's no telling why Terry de Havilland's (aka the 'Rock n Roll Cobbler' - Terry played a vital role in Swinging London with clients such as Bianca Jagger and Marianne Faithfull) collection was my favourite there and the 70's vibes we all know and love from this current season are here to stay. Terry is the legend of the wedge, and he has some beautiful ones on offer for next season in his trademark sloped style, but for me, they weren't the show stoppers this time - but his incredibly Studio 54 mismatch boots that were fittingly showcased on a mirrored revolving stand (which I need in my life FYI). Isn't he a complete genius?

Next up I was introduced to Stills - a brand i'd never heard of but a brand completely perfect for me. Stills is one of those brands that has the perfect clean, laid-back aesthetic similar to my beloved Whistles, making them my new obsession. Next season for them is very minimal, neutral tones with auburn touches here and there, and gorgeous colour block mixes of leather and suede that are going to be too difficult to turn down once A/W approaches!

If you're a fan of Spanish design like myself (Zara, Mango, Stradivarius), and luxury luggage is you're thing, then you'll probably be a fan of La Portegna - a wonderful Madrid born brand with a wonderful back story of founder Jose Urrutia's grandmother's travels with Ernest Hemingway and the photo album left behind that inspired his venture into travel pieces. Loved by the likes of Helena Bonham Carter, La Portegna use beautiful suedes and leathers in minimalistic, yet detailed styles in simplistic shapes and tonal colours - and their backpacks are just to. die. for.

Another new favourite brand of mine thanks to Trace - LNZ, a London based label embracing multiculturalism, combining popular culture with Arabic influences. LNZ specialise mainly in knitwear for their next season and their entire collection is unisex, perfect for those with more of a laid-back style or comfort seekers. I loved so much from their collection, their oatmeal knits with contrasting colours and oversized shapes stole my heart straight away - and what stole my heart even more? The brand mascot is their frenchie whose adorable face is emblazoned on some of their garments and used as a repeat pattern for lining - it's the little things!

A favourite of mine at Trace is Boux Avenue, an already very popular and very loved lingerie brand providing feminine underwear, swimwear and nightwear ranging from A-G cup and well known for their in-store luxury customer service (that may I add you have to try, their fitting service is fab!) Next season i'm in love with their little black babydolls and gorgeous lacy balconettes, as well as their dusky blue tones, turquoises and aubergines... Total sucker for pretty lingerie!

So, there you have it - all of my faves from the Trace Press day - let me know you're favourites in the comments, and make sure you keep up with my on Instagram @laurarogan for daily updates! :)
