The perfect Valentine's look with Fragrance Direct

So, my first ever make-up post, who thought they'd see the day? I just couldn't turn down the opportunity to shake things up a bit on here!
Anyway, Fragrance Direct asked me to create the perfect Valentine's make-up using some of their products and here it is! I wanted to go for something kinda subtle and versatile for whatever you may have in store, with a tonal smokey eye and a bold lip - perfect for day and night!

Here are the products I used for my face, starting with the Nivea BB cream in light for my base (I don't use foundation), and correcting with the W7 'Hide It' concealer which is amazing for covering scars! I have lots from my teen years and just a coat of this has them covered! Once i've finished my base, I then subtly contour using the Chanel 'Ultra Light Skin Perfecting' make up and Revlon Colour Stay foundation in the hollows of my cheeks, down the sides of my nose, and around my temples and jaw-line.

Using a buffer, sweep over your cheek bone a couple of times with the Shining Star shimmer brick to finish off your contouring and then for an added touch of rosy-ness, add a touch of Bobbi Brown 'Calypso Coral' pot rouge.

Another final touch to my contour, I add a little bit of Sin and Virgin from the Naked 1 palette to my cheekbone for highlight, and the same from my brow bone.
For the smokey eye, sweep over eyelids using 'Smog' from the Naked palette, also lining your bottom lash line in the same shade. To add a little extra shimmer I use my Chanel gold eyeliner in the inner corners of my eye and go over with 'Half Baked' from the Naked palette for more of an evening look, and finish with 'Darkhorse' in the creases of my eyelids, followed by my trademark wings using Rimmel Scandaleyes liquid liner pen and Bourjois 'Khol & Contour' pencil for my lower lash line.

And the complete the look, I lined my lips with this MUA lip pencil in 'Brooding Plum' and finished with Calvin Klein's 'Eros' lipstick - the perfect pink for Valentine's day!

Hope you guys enjoyed this different kind of post and liked my Valentine's look, let me know if you would like to see more of these kind of posts in the comments below! :)
