The Christmas Party Wishlist with George at ASDA

Well, it's finally December and that time of year when buying everything sparkly is 100% acceptable and nobody (except your bank account) can say a single thing about it because it's Christmas. I'm probably one of the biggest Christmas enthusiasts that I know so quite clearly my entire procrastination time has been spent window shopping all things festive, so today, whilst I slave away writing my dissertation, I have a Christmas party wish list for you all!
I'm a big fan of shopping in places I would have never usually thought of, so stumbling across some gems in George at ASDA's party section was a great surprise for the shopping addict inside of me - anyway, less of my babbling! Here are some of my Christmas party finds for the coming party season!

All Zara Everything

Sweater dress - Zara
Boots - Zara (in-store only - found these at Shepherd's Bush Westfields)
Bag - H&M

Boots. £20 boots. As usual, Zara out-did themselves with these beauties. I'm not usually a boot fan, being a designer i'm so picky with everything, and the slightest stitch line can really put me off and I especially stay away from cheap shoes as the 'leather' can be nasty - but as I queued for the fitting rooms, arms swamped in every knitted piece in the store, I spotted these in the corner of my eye discreetly placed underneath a table of jeans for no one ever to find... I loved them so much, I even got a size 7 as there were no 6's out *hi friction burns*
The jumper dress was also £20, which is insane because the knit is lovely and non-itchy and all the things you would want from knitwear... And I also feel like Mary-Kate Olsen when i'm waltzing around London in it...
Third year is making me shop too much. I need help.

The Primark cocoon coat

Coat - Primark
Top - Missguided (here)
Trousers - c/o Loving Youth
Shoes - c/o Heelberry
Bag - c/o Chi Chi (here)

One thing I can never get enough of, whatever the season is a good pair of trousers and i'm exceptionally fickle with them - but at the moment, this pair from Loving Youth label are my faves.
It's not the first time i've said it, and it probably won't be the last - but Primark are actually just so on point this season - particularly their coats section - and this one is just the perfect amount of slouch and texture *swoon* - I love you winter!

Check on check

Scarf - c/o Oasap (here)
Dress - c/o Chiara Fashion (here)

I don't know what normal people do on their birthdays, but here I am on my 22nd, sitting under the duvet scoffing an entire box of Quality Street and blogging today's outfit.... But it's not a successful birthday without a great outfit, right?
Chiara Fashion sent me this gorgeous dress a while ago now (which is now on sale for £8 and for that price, surprisingly great quality!) and today is finally a perfect reason to wear it. For the sake of Monday i've dressed it down with a scarf and some cute little boots for a more pub friendly look since tonight, me and all of my friends are heading to The Faraday (an eclectic little pub in Epsom, Surrey with the most amazing American-diner-esque menu where me and my friends mainly hang out) for their Retro Gaming night which is basically a nerd-paradise where you can play the Nintendo and Sega mega drive all accompanied by a beer! So, on that note, i'm off to go and be 22! Ciao!

#MyDorothyMoment

Boots - c/o Dorothy Perkins
Skirt - c/o Warehouse (here)
Jumper - c/o Oasap (here)
Bag - Topshop (here)

So, i'm officially a proud owner of a pair of over-the-knee boot, something i've been pining over since they 'came back' last A/W... The lovely chaps at Dorothy Perkins sent over these boots as part of their #MyDorothyMoment / #DPShoeSelfie campaign and competition, and since there's nothing I love more than shoes, I just couldn't say no! (i'm not gonna lie, my shoe rack could though, the weekly collapsing tells me it's done with life...)
#MyDorothyMoment is actually quite an eventful one as it's my birthday weekend (hello, 22!) - and being perfectly versatile, these boots makes the cut for the entire 3-day-event involving seeing Mockingjay Part 1 (thanks to my wonderful friend Annabel!), Winter Wonderland, and many bottles of prosecco!

#DPShoeSelfie competition

As part of the campaign, Dorothy Perkins are giving one lucky entrant the chance to win a years supply of shoes - and all you have to do is upload a 'From Where I Stand' style shoe selfie in your DP shoes and hashtag #MyDorothyMoment and #DPShoeSelfie

#LAStyleOff

Jacket - Primark
City shorts - c/o Lavish Alice (here)
Top - Topshop
Bag - & Other Stories

Last month, Lavish Alice started a #LAStyleOff blogger comp, where you were to compile a wish list, and their 5 faves would be sent a mystery item to style up for the next 'phase' of the competition. I was one of the lucky five, and the wonderful team sent me these gorgeous 'city' shorts, which now have a very firm spot in my A/W wardrobe. I love anything remotely tailored, so I happily accepted the challenge, and even added a splash of colour to my gradually-turned monochrome palette recently!

Shooting with Motel Rocks

So today's post is a little photo heavy, but for good reason! Last month I did a shoot with Motel Rocks shot by Lucy, who you probably already know as the fabulous Lulu Trixabelle
It was such a great day, and I was nothing but chuffed to be working with one of my favourite brands and getting to wear the amazing Gabby dress - which I have to one day invest in! *swoons*
Anyway, we shot around Great Portland street (by where Motel are based) and just did a few street style-like snaps in some super cool pieces from this season, as well as stopping for a cheeky cuppa and nibbling some blueberry cake (which was delicious) - and here is the outcome! Hope you enjoy!
