Glasses - Firmoo (here)
Top - c/o Oasap (here)
Trousers - Zara
Trainers - Converse
Bag - Topshop

If there's one thing i'm a mega fan of, it's a relaxed outfit. With final year coming up next month, making sure my wardrobe is stocked with throw-on clothes is top priority and this outfit will probably be worn-to-death - and I love any excuse to wear a palazzo pant with converse. Comfort at it's best level! As for the glasses, I think Jess has sparked some new obsession here for me since bringing round some contents of her wardrobe, I immediately stole this Firmoo pair from her and took about a thousand selfies, true blogger style!

Skirt - Missguided (here)
Shoes - River Island

I've been a little vacant from the Fashion Wonderland the past two weeks, but it's within good reason. I moved into my new flat this week which turns out not too bad for blog photos! It's really exciting for me since it's not a total dump and i've become absolutely obsessed with home decor and really making the place my own for my final year at UCA. I've also been ridiculously busy getting things sorted such as scheduling and Fashion week bits and bobs since I go on holiday next week - yay! But anyway, onto the clothes....
Oasap always save my life. You may recognise this top from a previous post (here), except the top in the old post being Annabel's from Zara. From that day I was hell-bent on finding it, but it was old stock so it was near impossible.... That was until one of my monthly browses of Oasap, it was like the heavens were above me to fulfil my little wish! D-ring detailing is looking to be pretty popular soon, which I noticed in the design offices at Whistles, and for good reason - they make the simplest garments super chic.

Sure, blogging can be a lot of hard work, especially if you really enjoy doing it and want to post frequently... But doing it with a friend makes it way more fun. Sure, generally all we do is talk about boys and clothes, eat pizza and watch The Vampire Diaries - but we do actually do work too (and a lot of it).

Blogging itself, if you're serious about it and it's your main hobby, is a full-time job, even if you're a part-timer like myself and Annabel. Since i've been away for a little while being super busy with upcoming projects and moving house, I figured a little peak into my routine would be a good way to shake things up between outfit posts as well as answering that frequent question we all think of fellow bloggers - what is their routine and how do they do it?

As a designer, one thing that is forever drilled into my brain in everything that I do is research. I research everything. Sometimes, it just comes naturally, other times, Vogue and Pinterest are my best friends - especially when my mind is having a total dry patch. Plus, it's always great to be inspired by other bloggers. This doesn't mean copying (but that goes without saying!), but being influenced by how another blogger puts things together, be it clothes, layout, or post style - there's always something you can learn from likewise people - which is why it's great having a blogging buddy who has so much in common with me lifestyle-wise.

Having a calendar and a diary is when life got that little bit easier for me. Every occasion and holiday is marked in my calendar, which is a great little saviour when planning posts, as if anything relevant pops up that you think could influence a post - then job done! This year I marked occasions such as Valentines day, Easter, Epsom Derby day and of course, Fashion week. Another thing I take into consideration when marking my calendar is a rough estimate of press day months as they all come at once. This way you can keep your calendar clear for those all important press day posts!

You can never have too many clothes, but you can have too little money. Being at an art uni specialising in Fashion means I have a very stylish circle around me, with very inviting wardrobes. Me and Annabel are constantly swapping clothes and combining wardrobes and re-styling to our own personal style makes blogging so much easier.

I have a crazy, compulsive habit of making notes, but it's super helpful and you never forget an idea when it's there in writing to look back on. Any idea that pops into my head gets written down and crossed off once posted, meaning I have a constant backlog of ideas that haven't been used - therefore lots of emergency content. I also use the reminders app on the iPhone - hands down the best thing that came into my life.

Generally this is done in bulk a couple of times a week (preferably when it's not raining), leaving me a couple of days to draft up the writing (if I have something to say) and a couple of days to correct lighting if I need to.

I spend ridiculous amounts of times drafting since I love writing - not that it's my best skill - hence the amount of time I spent being picky about my sentences. I always try to have something valuable to say which can be hard sometimes in fashion if you don't have something amazing to show, which is why I like to venture off sometimes into things happening in my life. You never know who you could help or who could enjoy reading it, so if you have something to say - say it!

The all-consuming social media time. Lets face it, we spend all our time on it, work or not - but networking never hurt nobody!

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting the creative team from Flossy shoes to team up and style a couple of pairs of shoes and do a shoot with them, which we headed over to Southbank for - and I must say, the locations turned out perrrrfectly - the super talented Sophie shot the photos and I love the outcome! It was really fun being in front of the camera and the rain managed to hold off until it was over which was mega lucky since the rain shortly after finishing up was brutal.
I got to keep the shoes which i'm so grateful for since they've quickly become my go-to everyday shoe and probably the comfiest that I own right now... And the pineapple print? Too hard to resist!

Before we get started, I just wanted to point out that i'm not looking to lose weight and I do not whatsoever believe that I 'need' to. With only 2 and a half weeks until my holiday, i'm definitely feeling the pressure to reduce any bloat and trim down as much as possible before I step onto the beach in just my bikini, and that's where Skinny Boo tea comes in.

Being a huge instagram addict (find my profile here), i've noticed in the past few months that there is a crazy amount of people jumping on the tea-tox wagon, immediately making me curious - and here I am today finding out for myself what the crack is and why people love this stuff so much. I went for the Skinny Boo teatox (Lucy Watson's teatox of choice) which is a delicious blend of oolong tea, cinnamon, lemon myrtle, mate green, nettle leaves and ginger - that claims to boost metabolism, regulate blood sugar levels, suppress appetite, burn calories and assist with food digestion - all by drinking just 2 cups a day, morning and evening, alongside a healthy, balanced diet and lifestyle.

Upon opening the packet, the first thing that hit me was the smell of ginger and cinnamon. I'm a huge fan of ginger flavours so this was a lovely surprise for me, and on brewing the tea, this smell just got even more delicious.
If you're used to herbal teas or green teas, the taste will definitely not be a problem for you. I'm a huge green tea drinker, so I don't have any issues drinking any other teas, but if you haven't before, it may be an acquired taste for you - but I find it is definitely sweet enough from the cinnamon flavours to enjoy.

The first cup definitely perked me up a little and gave me a bit of an energy boost after a long night shift and lack of sleep lately, it was exactly what I needed to get through my day. It also helped curb my usual headache that I get when I wake up from my abnormal sleeping pattern, which was like a heaven-send for me.

I had my second cup at around 11pm and I was super tired, and again, the tea perked me up and gave me an energy boost (enough to keep me up to finish working at home), but keeping me relaxed enough to sleep.

So, that's day one over and i'm really excited for the next 14 days to learn all of the benefits from this tea (it's my new fave already, just from the flavour!). Bring on day two!

Plain white tee

T-shirt - c/o Yesfor (here)
Shorts - ASOS
Sunnies - Oasap (here)
Shoes - c/o Glamorous (here)

Clearly i've been hanging out with Annabel far too much with the lack of colour in my wardrobe lately, but i'm a sucker for white in the summer (who isn't!)
When I saw this tshirt with the waist high slits, I kinda knew I had to have it - just so I could sway in the breeze. I think this is making the list of beach essentials for my holiday next month - perfect to throw on after a long day poolside on a milder evening.
Tomorrow i'm shooting with Flossy's which i'm pretty excited about and I can't wait to share the photos with you - i'll be styling up some of their super-cool plimsolls for them (which have also made the holiday list ;) ) so be sure to check my insta tomorrow for a sneaky peek!

Silver Linings

Hat - Boohoo
Top - c/o Oasap (here)
Culottes - c/o New Look (here)
Sliders - c/o Oasap (here)

With so much going on every single day and no breaks allowed, sometimes you have to sit down on a rainy day and book a holiday - and that's exactly what me and my friend did yesterday. Being a workaholic i'll more than likely work poolside, but a change of scenery is exactly what I need (sorry, London...) So - in 3 weeks time expect to be envious of my instagrams while I wind down in the wonderful Canary islands #sorrynotsorry
I don't know if anyone noticed, but I finally gave into the slider trend even though I have a major hatred towards feet (they're so creepy and weeeeeird!) - but finding these absolute gems on Oasap turned me immediately. Shiny things, simple minds, you know how it is.

Sunglasses - Yesfor (here)
Top - Topshop
Kimono - H&M
Jeans - c/o Urban Outfitters (here)
Bag - House of Fraser
Shoes - Heelberry

Until New Look's 'Discover Denim' event (which you can read all about here) I always immediately wrote off the idea of wearing jeans. Because of how long my legs are i've always had trouble finding a pair to fit me, but when the offer came up to snatch up a pair of Mom jeans from New Look, I jumped at the chance and since then I guess you could say i've been converted.
I had a cheeky trip to Urban Outfitters in Covent Garden last week and I had it in my head that I wanted a pair of super skinny black jeans - and these Dr Denim super high waisted ones jumped out at me straight away. They're super tight, but with lots of stretch and ridiculously high waisted - perfect for the lanky sods like me! Thanks UO!
