Now i'm back to constantly being at work, my day-to-day wardrobe consists of office-friendly outfits and this week i've been really having to get my thinking cap out and work day-to-night looks with it being press-day season and press parties galore - and what better way to work day-to-night than with a statement blazer, shirt, and a good old pop of colour, right? While the rest of the UK will be enjoying their summers abroad or at festivals, or even just in the beer garden - i've sacrificed mine in the name of Fashion and will be working my little ass off on S/S15 at Whistles, which i'm actually majorly excited about even though I have nothing to look forward to. I started last week and it's my new second home already, plus HQ is based by Camden high street so I definitely can't complain! Sometimes a creative environment is all you need...
But onto the real point... Last season Fashion Chick UK ran a blogger competition for the chance to win a paid-for trip to Amsterdam Fashion Week with them, and luckily for us eager Fashionistas that didn't end up so lucky the last time around, they're giving us that amazing chance all over again.
For me, it's a dream experience. Amsterdam is right at the top of the places in the world that I want to visit, and the opportunity to combine that with Fashion just makes it even more perfect.
So why will 'all eyes be on me' during the Amsterdam adventure? Because getting dressed is my favourite part of the day and the challenge of dressing for Amsterdam fashion week is a challenge accepted!
