MUA £1 LIPLINER - my MAC Rebel lipliner mission

So i've been on a mission to match up a lip liner with my MAC Rebel lipstick because I haaaaate soft edges more than anything and being a student, i'm on a major budget!
I must admit that I didn't really look very hard on my mission and I kind of just went for the cheapest thing that I found, which was the MUA lipliners for £1 (Red Drama and Brooding Plum) - they were so cheap, I even treat myself to a red one. As soon as I got home I was super excited to try my new bargains and honestly, they're pretty good! I haven't tried the red yet but I'm loooving Brooding Plum right now. It's not an exact match, but it's a pretty damn good match for Rebel. The pencil looks kinda burgundy but on application, it's got a very pink tone to it so it's not too far off the shade that Rebel is. Here's some pictures anyway so I don't babble on forever........ Let me know what you think of my £1 match!

    1. Eek that sucks! My housemate found a Maybelline lipliner in a very similar colour to this which also matched if you ever need a low priced lipliner and end up buying Rebel :) x

  9. I need to master the art of lip liner. Do Mac do a lip liner to match every lipstick in their collection?

    1. They do have a lot of shades so you probably wouldn't have difficulty finding one to match. They're not tooooo expensive (£12) but i'm the kind that if I can find it cheap, that will do me haha! :) x
